Mostly Complete

Ok so the game is mostly complete, been spending a lot of time on tweeking and balancing values, as well as tossin together this UI scheme. I went with a quasi-8 bit look without relying too much on the “8-bity-ness” of it. The shop has a slightly more bleak look to let the player immediately distinguish what screens they are on, as well as a subtle hint to how unfettered capitalism can very easily lead societies down a dark road.

Now on to character design.
